General Notary work can include Jurats, Acknowledgements, Oaths/Affirmations, and Certified Copies.

Acknowledgements: $15 for first signature per signer, $7.50 for each additional signature of the same signer.

An acknowledgment is a notarial act that involves a notary public certifying that a person signing a document is who they claim to be and that they have signed the document willingly and without coercion. This type of notarization is commonly used for legal documents such as deeds, contracts, and powers of attorney.

Jurats: $15 for each signature

A Jurat is a notarial act where the notary administers an oath or affirmation to the signer that the contents of a document are true and accurate. Examples of documents that may require a Jurat include affidavits and sworn statements.

Oaths and Affirmations: $7.50

An oath is a solemn, spoken pledge to a Supreme Being. The primary purpose of oaths and affirmations is to compel truthfulness in the oath-taker or affirmant by appealing to his or her conscience and arousing hir or her fear of legal repercussions.

Copy of Certifications: $7.50 per copy

Copy certification is a notarial act where a notary public certifies that a copy of an original document is a true and accurate reproduction of the original. This is often required for official documents such as passports, medical records, business documents and diplomas. The notary public will compare the copy to the original and then attach a certificate to the copy to verify its authenticity.
